Lazy Saturday? No Chance.
McCallie's Weekend Activities programs ensure that our students always have access to exciting events, great competitions, and all of the fun that Chattanooga has to offer.
Our activities run the gamut from regular shuttle buses to movie theatres and shopping around Chattanooga to outdoor excursions in the Great Smoky Mountains and trips to concerts and sporting events throughout the region. We regularly offer fan buses to McCallie sporting events at other schools so that the Blue Tornado can enjoy a home field advantage wherever they play.
The McCSat program is available to students of all grades - middle and upper school, day and boarding - and provides a huge array of options to choose from!
For boarding students, two additional programs ramp up the activity level.
For freshmen and sophomores, McCSat is designed to help them stay engaged in all of the opportunities McCallie offers. 9th grade boarding students must complete 10 McCSat credits their first semester and 6 in their second semester; Sophomores must complete four credits each semester.

If competition is your thing, then the BIG 5 Conference is for you. For more than 20 years, McCallie's dorms have engaged in year-long battles of athletic talent and mental acuity as part of the BIG 5. Dorms face off in tournaments throughout the year, and to the winners go the bragging rights! Visit the BIG 5 page to see the latest results, stats, and more.
