Counseling Center
The McCallie Counseling Center fills a unique role on campus by providing personal and social counseling on both a drop-in and appointment basis. A caring adult with a trained listening ear can be immensely helpful to a young man who is struggling, regardless of his particular challenge. It is our mission to provide such support by investing time and care into the lives of our students.
Relationships and community serve our young men best as they face the challenges inherent in this stage of life. Our goal is to walk alongside them as they traverse the unpredictable waters of adolescence.
Upper School Counseling Center
The Upper School Counseling Center is made up of two full-time counselors, one part-time counselor, and the school chaplain, all of whom hold masters degrees in counseling or pastoral care. We share responsibility for the student population in a way that allows us to establish and foster meaningful relationships with boys and their families throughout their time at McCallie.

Middle School Counseling Center
Our Middle School Counseling Center consists of one full-time counselor and the middle school chaplain. We are available to boys and their families to address specific issues or concerns, or the general adjustments associated with a new school and the ups and downs of the ‘tween years.
