McCallie Association of Parents

Welcome to McCallie and the McCallie Association of Parents (MAP). 

MAP offers fun and meaningful opportunities for each person to “Find Their Place” at McCallie while providing support to all families.  MAP is led by the MAP Council, composed of an Executive Board, Committee Chairs, and Grade and Boarding Representatives.  Should you have any questions on any topic, the members of the MAP Council are ready to help.  Below is the name and email addresses of each Council member.  Please feel free to reach out to them at any time.

MAP offers a variety of volunteer and engagement opportunities. If you are interested in any of these opportunities listed below, please email Mercedes Bartow.

Admissions Volunteer – As in person events are not possible this year, we are looking for families to help us engage with prospective students and their families through personal notes and/or phone calls.

McCallie Mania – McCallie’s online auction benefits the Honor Fund.

McCallie Parent Prayer Ministry (MPPM) – receive weekly emails that contain prayer requests for members of our McCallie community.  Participate in a prayer group or prayer events, currently via Zoom, to pray for our McCallie families.

Music Patrons, Performing and Visual Arts Patrons programs– volunteer to help in a variety of ways during our Arts events.

Tornado Club – help with concessions during our many Big Blue athletic events and tournaments.

Book Club – virtual gathering and discussion of the latest book selection.

Hiking Club – join us as we explore the many beautiful hiking trails that Chattanooga provides us.

Honor Fund Volunteer - The Honor Fund supports our students, faculty and the variety of programs that help our boys grow into exceptional young men. We welcome volunteers who would like to support our annual giving program during one of our giving opportunities/days.

Host an International Student – host an international student at your home during school breaks.

Parent 2 Parent Connector – become a “connector”, connecting new families with existing families during their transition to McCallie.  These connectors can either be day or boarding families welcoming our new families.

Grade Representative – help organize, promote grade level activities, and be an Ambassador for McCallie.
