The society and world you are inheriting are full of fractures and flaws, and your leadership, if it is filled with and fueled by truth and grace, can bring hope and healing and wholeness out of hardship and heartbreak. – A. Lee Burns III '87, Head of School
When we think of your class, we will remember young men who were selfless and wise beyond your years, givers of unconditional love, happiness, support ... courageous, yet vulnerable and even a bit irascible. – Kenny Sholl, Assistant Head of School

The Ridge has been a place where we can laugh, cry, and grow. It is a home away from home, a second family. We've lived in a safe haven of sorts ... and what's best is that if we fall short, there's always someone who's happy to pick up the pieces, whether it's a teacher, coach, or friend. – Daniel Jeong, Class of 2021 Valedictorian

Reaching the final station isn't the most important thing. The true joy we find in life comes from the journey. So don't let your quest for achievement along the way ever keep you from enjoying the ride. – Jim Ruffin '80, Chairman of the Board of Trustees
