History

The mission of middle school history courses is to help boys learn to draw upon the past as a source of wisdom and understanding for the present. We hope to guide our students into becoming informed, responsible citizens of both their school, state, country, and the world. Discussions in history classes foster student-teacher and student-student interaction. All courses include a strong emphasis on writing skills and the critical use of primary sources. We want boys to be excited by history and realize that it is ever-evolving.
