Help McCallie Students in Need

The uncertainty and unprecedented economic disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic has created financial distress for some McCallie students and their families. While there is no way to foresee the depth of adverse economic impact in our community, we do know that we want McCallie boys to be able to return to the Ridge for the 2020-21 school year.

Alumni and friends of the school have reached out to ask how they can help.  We are truly grateful for how McCallie comes together in times of need to support each other. The care and compassion demonstrated by our community is one of the reasons why McCallie is so much more than a physical place.

The Honor Fund is organizing a responsive effort to help defray tuition costs for existing McCallie families in need with its Big Blue Hearts Tuition Support initiative. It is essential that we do what we can as a community to ensure that our current students are able to continue their McCallie careers uninterrupted. We would hate for a boy’s career at McCallie to end when a one-time emergency tuition support grant would bridge the gap.

Impact of your gift

If you are able, please consider supporting the Big Blue Hearts Tuition Support initiative of The Honor Fund. Gifts of all sizes will make a difference in helping McCallie families and their boys stay at McCallie. Your generosity will offer some peace of mind to our families during this uncertain time.

For questions on how you can help, please contact Drew Read at dread@mccallie.org.
