One of the best ways to support McCallie School's athletics programs is to join the McCallie Tornado Club.
The McCallie Tornado Club is the athletics booster club that provides our students, athletes and coaches encouragement, promotion and financial assistance through membership, game attendance, involvement and volunteerism. The benefits allow you and your family the opportunity to be part of a special group who love Blue Tornado Athletics and are on board with the vision to take it to the highest levels.
Each year, Tornado Club members play an integral role in hospitality for the McCallie Invitational Wrestling Tournament and the McCallie Dr Pepper TEN Classic basketball annual events. Every other year, members work hard to ensure that the McCallie-Baylor football game played on The Ridge is one of the top sports attractions in town. Revenue generated from the Tornado Club provides financial support for necessary team equipment, exercise and strength-building devices for the weight room, and key supplies for the training room. It covers fees and travel for professional development conferences for coaches and staff and provides resources for team banquets and events among other necessities that keeps McCallie Athletics on track in providing a championship experience for the entire school community.
The Tornado Club impacts the entire athletic program and all teams -- nearly 800 McCallie Middle School and Upper School athletes. Our goal is 300 family memberships.
