McCallie Middle School Swimming has for decades been known as a program that can serve many talent levels. From the entry-level, novice swimmer to the Southeastern Finalist performer, this program can fit you into a goal-oriented, fun physical fitness and swimming track.
Middle School Head Coach Keith Chapin and assistant Chip Arnold have been part of McCallie aquatics program for many years and do an outstanding job developing the boys' skills.
The McCallie Middle School program has a multi-tiered approach to the sport with improvement and fun in mind for all levels. Our team typically has five to six dual meets per year. The season culminates in a competitive, locally held championship meet at the end of the season.
McCallie Middle School swimming currently offers the opportunity to swim for all three seasons of the school year. There is plenty of room to grow with this team, and many of our swimmers continue on to the High School level.
Coach Chapin welcomes swimmers of all levels to come and try out some practices, have fun and get in shape with our program.
The McCallie School offers aquatic programs to children (ages 2 and up) and adults as well. It offers swim lessons, master adult swim practices, life guarding classes, swim clinics for triathletes and summer league swimmers. Roger Dahlke is the head coach of our year-round USA Swimming program called “McCallie/GPS Aquatics.” For more information on these programs, please visit the Club Team’s web site www.mccgpsaquatics.com.
