Keither (“Keith”) Merritt is a day graduate from the Class of 1994. During his time at McCallie, he was a member of the Senate, Student Government, Keo-Kio, TEPS, and was on the football, baseball, and crew teams.

Keith works in Research & Development at Grifols, a biotech company, in the Research Triangle Park. He is originally from Chattanooga, and has an undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University, a doctorate from Vanderbilt University, and he completed a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. He has also been involved in the community through steering committees for Wake Forest University and the Southern Environmental Law Center, as a volunteer for Vanderbilt University and for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Triangle, and as an elder of First Presbyterian Church in Durham.
