Low Country South Carolina Alumni Chapter Chair
Reeves Skeen attended McCallie from 1999-2002. While on ‘The Ridge’, Reeves was president of the Key Club, a member of the State Championship soccer team in ’99, champion of the season long ‘Big 5’ tournament and served as a prefect in Belk Dorm. Reeves was a boarding student from Myrtle Beach, SC. Reeves recently was recognized as a True Blue Award recipient. This award recognizes alumnus for distinguished service to his class and those whose gifts of time, outreach and enthusiasm have been ‘true blue.’
After graduation Reeves earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Presbyterian College and played soccer for 4 years. Reeves is an area executive for First Citizens Bank and resides in Charleston, SC. He has been with First Citizens for 17 years in multiple cities throughout the Southeast. As an Area Executive, he works with retail, business and wealth teams from Savannah to Charleston. Headquartered in Raleigh, First Citizens is the 16th largest bank in the country and the largest family-controlled bank in the US.
Reeves and his wife, Catherine, live on James Island, SC with their two children, Coleman and Lucy. Reeves serves on the Board of Directors for Trident United Way, Charleston Regional Development Alliance, South Carolina Bankers Association, First Tee of Charleston, and Porter-Gaud School.
