Middle School
The best way for your son to get a true feel for McCallie is by spending a day on campus with a student host. He’ll attend classes, meet current students, explore the campus, and enjoy lunch in our dining hall. During his visit, he’ll also have his admission interview—a relaxed and friendly conversation designed to help us get to know him better. [Middle School Student Event]
Upper School
Upper school student visits are scheduled on an individual basis. Your son will attend classes, meet current students, explore the campus, and enjoy lunch in our dining hall. As part of his visit, he will have his admission interview, a required item on the application checklist. Admission Tailgate
September 25
The Admission Tailgate is a unique opportunity for families to connect with members of the McCallie and GPS communities. Join us for food, fun, and festivities, and stay around to watch the Blue Tornado take the football field. Join us for this special event on Friday, September 25. [Family Event]
Epic Hangout
November 8
What makes this hangout epic? In just one exciting afternoon at McCallie, your son will eat, learn, play, and connect with both current and prospective students. This special event is designed to give parents an inside look at McCallie through the voices of our school leaders, admission team, and—best of all—our students. From academics and arts to athletics, admission, and the unique advantages of an all-boys education, you'll gain a well-rounded understanding of what makes McCallie such a transformative experience for boys. Middle School Assessment
November 14 | December 5
As part of the application process, middle school applicants are required to complete an admission assessment. The assessment is one piece of a larger picture, helping the admission committee get to know the whole student. There is no cost to take the assessment.
