Computer Science

Over the past two decades, we have seen a growing demand for individuals who understand technology and its uses in the day-to-day world, across all disciplines. At its core, computer science is about thoughtful, innovative, efficient design. It is also about how to best create interfaces, programs, and applications which harness the power of data and pull people together. Computer Science courses at McCallie help students develop the problem-solving mindset to identify challenges and then, using learned computing and data analysis skills, to make a real difference in their world.

Computer science is not just how to write code; it is about how to see the world in a logical way.
