Performing Arts
At McCallie boys sing, play classical guitar, compose music, play in the orchestra or wind ensemble. An all-boys environment allows them to explore this side of their creativity and talent without being self-conscious.
The faculty of the music department encourages all ranges of ability and believes that through practice and study all boys can acquire the skills to be proficient musicians. We also provide a variety of musical pathways for a boy to follow. Many boys discover both talent and passion for music they did not know they had.
