At McCallie boys lead their own college searches with parents and counselors in a supporting role. We structure our program this way both because it is most likely to lead to the best possible outcome and because there are so many valuable lessons and skills boys can learn through the process. 

Our team works with each boy and his family individually to provide the right guidance that is appropriate for their needs. We work with each senior based on his needs and his timeline. 

Our team serves diverse student aspirations and a wide range of financial needs.  

Our college application process is intentionally not stressful and not competitive among our students. Occasionally, boys do get stressed, like when they procrastinate, but generally there is not the frenzy that exists at many other schools. Boys are also extremely supportive of each other’s application choices and decisions. 

McCallie parents, by and large, do a great job of letting their sons run their own searches. We have amazingly few negative interactions with parents in what can be a stressful experience for both parents and their sons.
