Athletics at McCallie play an important role in the school’s mission and coaches have a big influence in students’ lives, serving also as teachers, dorm heads, advisors, and mentors. Athletics also make up a large part of student and campus life, as well as connecting the extended McCallie community with the school.
As the school’s athletics booster club, the McCallie Tornado Club contributes to the athletics program’s success, impacting the entire athletics program and all teams - nearly 750 middle and upper school athletes. The Tornado Club provides encouragement, promotion, and financial assistance to the entire athletics program through membership, game attendance, involvement, and volunteerism. It is also one of the school’s most active and social organizations. Tornado Club benefits allow you and your family the opportunity to be part of a special group who have a passion for Blue Tornado Athletics and have a desire for athletic successes to continue on the fields, courts, and pools.
