Soccer Star Best in the Area

Arturo Rocha was selected as the top soccer player in the area by the
Chattanooga Times Free Press . . .
Arturo sparkled on the field this past spring, leading the Blue Tornado to the State Tournament semifinals and tallying 17 goals and 19 assists this season. For his career, he compiled 50 goals and 46 assists. He was an All-State honoree all four varsity seasons and was named to the Best of Preps team four times.
A day student from Cleveland who graduated in May, Arturo will attend Lee University on a soccer scholarship.
Teammates joining Arturo on the Best of Preps First Team include seniors David Barnes and Angel Cruz and junior Hunter Brock.
Arturo, Angel and Hunter were also voted to the Division II-AA Tennessee High School Soccer Coaches All-State Team June 7.
McCallie forged a 17-3 overall record in 2012 which included a 14-match win streak.
