The best way to experience McCallie is to visit our campus. You can take advantage of our scheduled events or we can arrange an individual visit on most school days. Overnight stays are available on request. Students may also take the SSAT during a campus visit. To register for a Boarding Visitor Day online, click on the appropriate date you would like to attend. Each year, McCallie Admission representatives travel across the country and the world. Please contact our office if you would like a boarding representative to visit your home town. McCallie also hosts regional receptions and events for alumni, families and friends in a variety of cities. Please check our events calendar to see if we will be in a city near you. Admission Testing for Boarding Applicants
McCallie requires each boarding applicant to take the Secondary School Admission Test (SSAT). Test registration materials can be obtained from McCallie’s Admission Office. You may either arrange to take the test during a visit to McCallie or you may register for a national test date at the SSAT website. Please forward the applicant’s test results to our office. Our SSAT code is 4744.
In some cases, the SSAT testing fee may be waived, provided you have a Fee Waiver Request Form on file and are able to take the test on our campus. Use the form below to request more information from our Admission Office. If you would like to request an SSAT Fee Waiver, contact the Boarding Admission Staff.
