Student Project Assessment Guide
I would like to grade your projects in a fair manner, so here is how I’m going to do it:
Knowledge: Does the project reflect that the person knew the concept he was trying to explain? Grading: 5-6 little to no intellectual expression evident, 7-8 reasonable thought involved, 9-10 substantial thought and knowledge displayed Communication: Did the above knowledge get clearly and understandably transferred to you as a reader. In other words, did it make sense? Grading: 5-6 doesn’t make too much sense, 7-8 figure out most of it, 9-10 it is the picture of clarity Contribution: Under self-evaluation: Does it appear that all contributed equally to the project? Did one person do all the work and others nothing? Grading: 5-6 little contribution made by you, 7-8 some contribution made by you, 9-10 most of the project was yours Creativity: The word is self-explanatory. Grading: 5-6 kind of blah, 7-8 some spark of life, 9-10 makes you go Wow or extends the knowledge of the field I’ll collect a self-evaluation from everyone. I’ll collect 12 group evaluations as follows:
I’ll sum up all the points and do some math and presto, your grade. |
